the elderflower inn

T
he Elderflower Inn is a place that feels neither here nor there, and through its doors, patrons from all manner of realms or worlds, from all walks of life oft walk through. Travelers or adventurers looking for a place for a long rest may walk in through quaint little door with a stained glass inlay in some kind of liminal space, and instead find themselves in a quaint, but inescapably magical establishment.
(...It's a jamjar inn. Think if Howl's moving castle was an inter-dimensional inn and Sophie was its long-suffering innkeeper.)
While it began as a quaint cottage bed & breakfast with only a handful of rooms, over its ~1800 years of existence, the Inn has grown a little bit larger. Its tavern serves spirits of all sorts of origins, and the menu of food is just as vast - and all very comforting, the perfect sort of meal to fill you after an arduous adventure. Even roaming its halls, guests feel that the place is storied indeed, with knick-knacks and items and from every far-flung place one can imagine.
Also, there's a pool somewhere.
Enjoy your stay!
